Bird Themed Baby Shower!

A new chick will soon be hatching!

Soon-to-be mom, Danielle, was joined by her family and friends to celebrate the anticipated arrival of baby girl Story.

Our lovely hostesses, Karrie Pyke, designer of Posh Paperie, and Kenna Carter  did a wonderful job with this super cute bird-themed Baby Shower.

Attendants were asked to share a wish for Story and place it on this super cute cherry blossom branch.

The adorable bird theme was even carried through to the food tags
Each items was made with care and tasted amazing!

The custom made pinwheels were also a cute touch!

Friends and Family were thrilled to celebrate Story's upcoming arrival, along with
Mother-to-be and soon-to-be Grandma!

Congratulations soon-to-be mom and dad, Danielle and Marcos!

We look forward to meeting the little miracle soon!

Christmas Deals are in full swing and I couldn't wait to share!

This post was inspired a couple of days ago when I began receiving cheerful chimes on my phone each morning reminding me of Starbucks' 12 Days of Sharing. While I understand not everyone is a fan of Starbucks, when hearing the morning chime it has little to do with the coffee company itself, but instead it's a reminder to stop and reflect on the holidays. I am sure everyone can agree the Christmas season goes by a little too quickly and a reminder to stop and enjoy the season brings a smile to everyone's face, Starbucks lover or not.

So take a moment and check out these other great Christmas deals and maybe ponder who you can bless this season.
Check out this festive Advent calendar or sign up to receive your cheerful chime reminders via text!

I LOVE this spa! The amenities are amazing and the services are top quality!

Check out all the great package deals the Hotel Del is offering this Christmas!

From Babes in Toyland to Wishes for Children and Holiday Shopping, Callaway is a great place to celebrate!

Whimsique's designer Melissa Ward has incredible talent and creates beautiful wedding invitations, save-the-dates and so much more!

Photographer Tori Avery also specializes in wedding photography and engagement shoots.

Mary Kay make-up artist, Karissa Harrison, also offers great wedding and engagement make up deals!

So no matter what your "chime" is this holiday season, my wish for you is that you daily take a moment to stop and reflect on what this Christmas season really means to you...

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Kwanzaa!

Here I go...

This day has finally arrived! For a while there I really thought it may never come, but here it is...
MY FIRST BLOG POST!

Weddings by Lindsy is really going strong – 2010 has been a fantastic year and as I head into my 6th year of coordinating Southern California weddings, I could not be happier!

Since we will be getting to know one another as the posts go on, I have to be honest; I haven’t spent every waking moment working on weddings.  Lately I have found I’m spending quite a bit time frustrated with my Denver Broncos, but hey, that’s what we all love about the NFL …right?

Okay, so back to the blog…Why should you read this blog you ask? I want to use this blog as a venue for YOU!   I can’t wait to share insider tips of the trade, vendor deals, and even feature you!
* Know of an incredible vendor who went above and beyond for you, let me know!
* Engaged, married, anniversary, etc. send me some photos and a story and let me share!

The most important element of this blog will be you!
I want your involvement, your thoughts, your ideas, your photos and more! Feel free to share a comment after a blog, send me an email me at LindsyHinesWeddings@gmail.com, or simply follow the many adventures of Weddings by Lindsy.

Well, I think it’s that time, but before I bring my first post to an end I want to share something one of the greatest Broncos, John Elway, once said, “I look at my career and it's still hard for me to believe the way things [are turning] out and how things [have] happened. I've been so blessed.”

Thank you for joining the adventure and adding to my blessings!
